Hi, My name is Ralph Connor. My wife Lynne and I became associated with Usana when we were trying to help our grandson earn money for college. He had already become a distributor before us. Our initial plan was simply to purchase and use the products. In August of 2005 I had gone through 5 heart bypasses and now was using quite a few supplements. After begining to use Usana products we became aware of great differences in the way supplements are manufactured. Usana's standards are much higher than most. In fact I found out that the quanities shown as contained per unit on most supplements can be very inaccurate. Additionally many supplements are difficult if not impossible to absorb into the body. Usana's supplement quanities are very accurately controled and they are compounded so that they are easy to absorb into the body. USANA Health Sciences formulates exceptional, science-based nutritional and personal-care products. However, inferior manufacturing can destroy even the greatest product formulations. For this reason, USANA manufactures its own nutritional supplements, and voluntarily meets pharmaceutical Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Pharmaceutical GMP standards are far more stringent than the food GMP requirements set by the U.S. government for supplements. Of course there are other benefits to becoming a Usana distributor. One of these is the income that it can produce, but along with the income is being able to share both the product benefits and the program with friends. My wife and I love to travel, but when both of us retired we thought that we would have to curtail our travel. Well in Dec. of 2008 we completed our 14th cruise. It was a Trans Atlantic on Royal Caribbean. This was our third Trans Atlantic since August of 2007. Life can be good. Presently the Lord has blessed both my wife and I with good health. With the help of Usana both health wise and financially, we look forward to much more travel. $85,000 is the average annual income for established, full-time USANA Associates. $23,300 is the average annual income for Associates who earn as little as one commission check a month. Total includes all earnings from the compensation plan, Leadership Bonus, and contests and incentives. Calculations based on earnings between February 2008 and January 2009. Figures should not be considered as guarantees or projections of actual earnings, which result only from consistent, successful sales efforts. To be considered in a rank's earnings, Associates must have earned checks at a median rank for at least 16 weeks. According to results from an in-house survey taken between 2004 and 2006, the primary reason 17% of USANA independent business owners join the company is to improve their financial future. 21% of that group earns a check at least once a month. Of those whose primary reason is to earn enough to replace a full-time income, 41% have been Associates for at least one year and 56% are full-time Gold Directors and above. The number of Gold Directors and above who have maxed at least 1 Business Center during the year equals less than 1% of all Associates. Those earning as little as one check a month equal approximately 3% of all Associates. The average annual income for all 158,934 USANA Associates, including those who are brand new or who are not actively building a business, is $618.55, with nearly one in three earning a check. To date, USANA has more than 130 Million Dollar Club members.
